If NetBSD complains about mounting a Linux disk:
# mount_ext2fs /dev/wd0e /mnt
mount_ext2fs: /dev/wd0e on /mnt: incorrect super block
Then use fsck.ext3 (from NetBSD package):
# fsck.ext3 /dev/wd0e
e2fsck 1.32 (09-Nov-2002)
/dev/wd0e: recovering journal
Moving journal from /.journal to hidden inode.

/dev/wd0e: clean, 112217/489600 files, 812334/977949 blocks
# mount_ext2fs /dev/wd0e /mnt
# cd /mnt
