Installed bochs from pkgsrc and started using for booting ISO images. It is pretty slow on an AMD K6-2 450 MHz system, but okay. I ran like:
bochs -q 'boot:cdrom' 'ata0-master: type=cdrom, path=/path/to/iso, status=inserted'
Also, had to set:
keyboard_serial_delay: 2000
Because the keys were repeating to fast.

I was able to boot a Linux ISO and a NetBSD ISO. An OpenBSD ISO didn't boot because couldn't find /bsd.
