My tar doesn't have --fast-read. (My work-around is to use pax-as-tar or build pkg_add without that usage.) revision 1.8 of pkgsrc/pkgtools/pkg_install/files/add/perform.c forces --fast-read. It previously used:

#if defined(HAVE_TAR__FAST_READ)

(I originally mentioned this to tech-pkg on 22/Sep/2003.) Send-pr: pkg/23218: pkg_install uses tar --fast-read but not in gnutar (Grant closed this on 20/Dec/2003, but I disagree. I sent some notes to it on 19/Mar/2004.)

In MozillaFirebird-bin-realplayer, changed package name from phoenix-bin-realplayer.
