This morning, my vnodes was at 29994 (out of 30000). I bumped it up to 50000. 1216 kB of memory were instantly used.

Fetched new bootstrap tools for pkgsrc, because a cvs update of pkgsrc required new pkg_install, but pkgtools/pkg_install wouldn't build under Linux. I used:

cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs@anoncvs.netbsd.org:/cvsroot   checkout othersrc/bootstrap-pkgsrc
