On May 3rd, I discussed on the bsdi-users mailing list an idea. The list has problems with people bickering a lot. I suggested a webpage to simply point the readers to if you have a problem. The page is at http://www.reedmedia.net/misc/mail/using-mailing-list.html

Power went out. First time pilchuck has been down since last power outage in January. It didn't boot all the way back up. I had to plug in a monitor and keyboard and manually run fsck on two partitions. Three Exim mail data files were placed in lost+found. (I later looked at them and then removed them; I assume Exim did the right thing.)

I was told that the pkgsrc was updated to have newer SDL and smpeg. So I did a cvs update. Then I had some Makefile errors. I sent an email that showed some of the output of "make -d A" to tech-pkg asking for details on how I can troubleshoot it farther.
